Products

It has been quite a while since I’ve done a product post of any kind so I thought I’d give you guys a glimpse into some fun changes I’ve made recently with packaging. Ain’t it pretty? My clients often tell me they feel like they’re getting a gift when they get their products, which is exactly how I want them to feel! Now they get even prettier and better protected gifts!

I’ll try to squeeze in some more product posts for you in the future!

If you’re in the area, you should check out Bonfet!, a local art and music studio! I had so much fun dropping in for this birthday party to do some studio photos for them. The kids were having so much fun painting (and the parents were having fun relaxing). They really did such a great job. It was fun seeing the kids’ creativity and their personal touches. Bonfet! also offers all kinds of other party options and private lessons. Check out their site or like their Facebook page to keep up on class schedules.

This last weekend, Christ Church School had their annual Gala which I was fortunate enough to be a part of for the second year in a row. Last year I was part of the silent auction, and this year I was so excited to donate to the live auction. The winner got a full premium session, a custom designed 10×10 album, a disc of digital negatives from their session, and a 20×24 mounted print.

Here are a few photos before the event. I’m so impressed by the men and women who put it all together (special shout out to my friend Kristy!). It’s so much work to put an event like this together, and it always looks so beautiful. And as you can see, there were some live fuzzy cuties being auctioned as well.

For my display, I had a 20×30 fine art gallery wrap and a 12×12 custom designed album.

My friend and client recently moved across the country, so all her products were sent to her new beautiful home. She sent me some photos of a couple of her displays, so I had to share them with you! The first is a 16×20 matted print on metallic paper, and the second is a 20×30 fine art canvas gallery wrap that welcomes visitors into their home in their front entry. Gorgeous!

Thanks to this wonderful family for allowing me back in their home to photograph a few of their displays from their session. This is something new I’d like to keep doing more regularly, so I’m putting the word out to all my past clients that if you’re willing to let me in off the bitter cold streets, I’d love to see how you displayed the images we created together.

Pictured below is a 40″x20″ fine art canvas gallery wrap (framed) and a few print displays.

So, I’m starting this new thing where I feature some of my products in clients’ homes to give future clients ideas on how to display my photographs as fine art in their own home. I wanted to start out with this beautiful display. Remember this couples’ session I did last month? Well here are some of the beautiful products we created for them. They did an awesome job choosing their products. I was so excited to deliver everything to them and see the finished displays.

First up are these two 20×30 fine art canvas gallery wraps in black and white. They have it in a cool place in their house where you can see it on both sides of the wall, thanks to the mirror on the other side!

Here are two 16×20 metallic prints in their bedroom.

And a fun 4×6 print in their kitchen. Isn’t that frame incredible? I love it.
