I am soooo behind on blogging. There are still some shoots from Christmas that I never blogged! Here’s a semi-recent one though with some newborn twins. Awww.

Thank goodness fast shutter speeds can freeze motion because these twins are nothing but movement! I knew what I was getting into too because they’re my adorable nephews! My brother, sister-in-law, and I were in shock when we counted back and realized it had been THREE YEARS since I photographed them. Wow. That is unbelievable. Time flies. It was such a pleasure to photograph them again. Everyone was so happy and relaxed that it was a total blast. And no one even fell in the water! Success!
I absolutely love these images of them. I posted a ton of them from their gallery, more than I usually post. Enjoy!

I added this next one because I made an appearance in it. Haha!

It has been quite a while since I’ve done a product post of any kind so I thought I’d give you guys a glimpse into some fun changes I’ve made recently with packaging. Ain’t it pretty? My clients often tell me they feel like they’re getting a gift when they get their products, which is exactly how I want them to feel! Now they get even prettier and better protected gifts!
I’ll try to squeeze in some more product posts for you in the future!

I went through unbelievable lengths finding locations for this family that I thought would be “them”. I had a very clear idea in my head that would fit this family (who I’d only had the opportunity to exchange emails with until our session), and I did not stop until I found the locations I imagined and made them ours for the day. As soon as I met them as we got out of our cars I knew it had all been worth it.
It had rained the day before our session and was drizzly the day of so I was a little worried about the mud. Luckily for me this was one of those lucky occasions where the parents were encouraging their kids to relax and have fun and get dirty. Ahh, my dream clients.
It was such a fun evening. I cannot stop gushing about how much fun they were.

When I showed up for tonight’s session, I was ready for a calm and quiet hour and a half since the youngest kids were eight years old. Boy, was I wrong! This family has some life to them! It was such an enjoyable evening spending time with them. I could not have asked for a more fun, energetic, warm family…truly.
Always one of my favorite moments during the session: the worn out cuddles.

I am still slightly in shock that we got this far with a mini-session, especially with a family of six. So insane. Of course it’s not a surprise that it was this family that helped me pull it off, aka the most photogenic family in the world (and one of my absolute favorite families in the world). They were so much fun. I love the mood that these kids bring — they love to laugh and are completely hilarious and fun-loving as I’m sure you can tell. They make my job easy.
Thanks for another awesome year (wow, they’ve grown, huh?).
