Wow, I have to say, as soon as I opened this session up, I was giddy with excitement. I just knew what was coming and couldn’t wait. I absolutely loved this session, both at the moment, through post-processing, and now. It was especially fun to be greeted with such a warm welcome by this outgoing, talkative preschooler who was just excited to go play with me on the playground. He is such a fun kid (as I hope you can tell from these images), and I totally fell in love with him. He couldn’t understand why no one else was at the park at 8:30 in the morning, which I thought was so cute, and I even got a special invite to keep playing with him back at his home after the session was over!
Also, you may recognize his little brother from one of my very first shoots!
It was really painful trying to narrow my images down to a reasonable amount from this session so today’s preview is going to be especially large. Every time I would rule some out, I’d go back and add them back in. Enjoy!

Look at that stud on the left. What a pose!

Both of these images (above) make me smile every time I see them. I just adore his expression on the left, and I love how his feet and legs managed to sneak into the photo on the right. So cute!

The image on the left (above) is one of my absolute favorites. Many of my images have a candid feel to them, but my favorite shots are usually the ones that truly are completely candid, where the subject has no awareness whatsoever of being photographed. This one, especially, I loved because it has such a child-like curiosity to it, especially when paired with the one next to it.

There’s another one (on the left, above) that was completely candid and that I completely fell in love with the instant I saw it. Such a sweet moment.

Okay, they’re beautiful, of course! How will I choose?!?!? L & I BUSTED out laughing at the Ry tire pick: “Awwwww! HAHAHAHAH!” It’s awesome! A favorite for sure. The climbing ones of Jack are great too and L esp. liked the one of us walking by the train.
Gorgeous and fun! You captured the essence of a gorgeous and fun family. So many great shots.
What good lookin’ boys they have! Shannon, so great to see your business blossoming so beautifully. Miss you guys.
Shannon! No surprise; you’ve done it again. The Eidson photos are great and I’m getting ready to go through
them for the third time to try to decide which ones I HAVE TO HAVE! The facts that the photos were done
outdoors, that you did many in b & w and in color, and that you captured Kristy, Leigh and the boys so
naturally demonstrate what a talented photographer you are.
Do you travel for work?! Haha! I wish we lived closer–I would hire you in a heartbeat, lady! You’ve got the touch–gorgeous!
